She is an advisory board member of the Northern Ohio Branch of the International Dyslexia Association and a past board member of Academic Language Therapy Association.
A mover and a shaker, as dyslexia advocate, Dr. Tolson has been an integral part of the OH movement to implement dyslexia screeners, interventions, and teacher preparation.
