This scholarship is awarded in honor of a high school senior formally diagnosed with dyslexia who is:
- a worthy role model for others
- refuses to be limited by the challenges of learning differences
- strives for excellence
- chooses to live as an achiever
- enriches the lives of the families, friends, employers & communities with whom he/she interacts.
The Jean Armus Scholarship will cover a portion of the symposium registration fee. We are seeking applicants who will help us spread awareness of dyslexia and the knowledge they have gained from this symposium within their communities and local schools. In addition, we are hopeful that the applicants will join the International Dyslexia Association.
